that pause at the end is so pained, i'm guessing stockhausen was a little off the wall as a person. Its quite amazing though that you can probably measure his influence by the fact that my university has rows and rows of stockhausen CDs and scores, while boulez, ligeti, xenakis or even the minimalists have far less.

Hi Marcus,

i know... that pause is exactly the reason i put the video up. his influence does stretch far and it is surprising how much more attention he gets than other major figures but i think that's changing a bit. especially Ligeti i think.
