i've heard this described as Sparks' 'dumbest album', and, well, maybe, but it is one of my favourites, especially 'rocking girls' where this lyric comes from and the songs 'popularity' and 'cool places', which seem to get a lot of the pies that are thrown for being 'dumb'... fine, try this out for size and tell me if it's dumb. (it is a bit dumb i guess, but it is so accurate and when you hear it it is just amazing, the way his high voice lingers over the 'ty' of popularity....... if this is vacant it is vacant lots):
